Maithili Sagar,  Co-Founder at BanqMart

Maithili Sagar is an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong background in product management and technology. She is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of BanqMart, a leading fintech company in the UAE that provides banking products to its customers. Holding an MBA from Chicago Booth and law degrees from McGill University, Maithili has worked as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon in Seattle and New York. She also launched KinderPass, an edtech solution for early childcare providers, as well as Kindersteps, a parenting app that provides daily activities and tips for young children. In her current role at BanqMart, Maithili is responsible for driving the company's growth and success by empowering consumers to make the right financial choices.

BanqMart is a fintech company that aims to democratize access to capital for small and medium-sized businesses by connecting them with accredited investors. As a Co-Founder, Maithili is responsible for the legal and compliance aspects of BanqMart's operations.

In her role at BanqMart, Maithili brings her extensive experience in corporate law and regulatory compliance to ensure that the company operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. She is also involved in developing and implementing the company's business strategy.

Ali (Abdul Majid) Muhammad, Director - Treasury, Zand

Ali Muhammad is an accomplished banker with a strong background in Treasury and Investments.

He is currently a Treasury Director at Zand Bank PJSC, one of the new digital banks in the UAE. Holding a BBA in Finance with minor in Accounting and Mathematics, Ali has worked in the hedge fund space in New York as well as in the Global Middle office space in Toronto. Prior to joining Zand, Ali was working as AVP Sukuk Investment and Origination at Dubai Islamic Bank.

In his current role at Zand, Ali is responsible for managing liquidity and investments as well as establishing strong relationships with local and international banks.
